Bombshell – according to Julie, the poo emoji is actually chocolate yogurt.

It’s been a huge summer for music, and don’t Zane Lowe and Julie Adenuga know it. As two of the faces of Beats 1, Apple Music’s 24/7 radio station that’s been broadcasting worldwide for approaching 18 months now, they’re two of the first port of calls for big-name acts who want to drop a long-awaited new single or give a rare, elusive interview, and the last three months have been no different. But what did they make of the summer’s biggest releases?

As well as our regular Singles Club feature, casting an eye over the biggest tracks of the week just gone, every now and again we like to put the task to artists and personalities from the world of music. We linked up with Zane and Julie to get their personal verdicts on blockbuster tracks by Rae Sremmurd, Frank Ocean, Wiley, Lady Gaga and more. Bust out your dab emojis.

You can listen to both of their Beats 1 shows on Apple Music, Zane Lowe’s at 5pm BST and Julie 8pm BST Monday – Thursday.
