A surrealist and gritty London tale.

Following a premiere in London on Friday, A$AP Rocky has released his ‘Money Man’ short film which features two tracks from the forthcoming A$AP Mob Cozy Tapes Vol.1 and appearances by Skepta, A$AP Nast and La Haine‘s Said Taghmaoui.

‘Money Man’ was directed by AWGE, Rocky’s creative collective, and shot in northwest London with the city’s estates and views featuring prominently. The 12-minute video tells the story of a drug made from scorpion venom and butterfly wings and of the relationship between Rocky (as Money Man Flako), Taghmaoui (as Money Man), and Taghmaoui’s sister with whom Rocky becomes involved. According to Red Bull, who premiered the video, the film takes inspiration from French cult classic La Haine.

The track ‘Money Man’ features A$AP Nast and ‘Put That On My Set’ features Skepta, who continues his collaboration with American artists. Both songs were recorded in London.
