Forty new artists join the lineup.

DJ Shadow, Soulwax and Carl Craig are just a few of the many names added to Barcelona’s Sónar 2017 lineup today.

The festival will mark the European debut of Craig’s Versus Synthesizer Ensemble, where Craig will be joined on stage by five musicians, together interpreting the music from his Versus project on synthesizer.

The will also include a live performance from Arca and live visual collaborator Jesse Kanda, offering the producer’s first new music since last year’s Entrañas mix and a glimpse of his follow-up to 2015’s incredible Mutant.

Other additions include Anderson .Paak, Evian Christ, RP Boo, Nico Muhly, Lunice and modular synth pioneer Suzanne Ciani. The festival will also feature collaborative DJ sets between Dahpni & Hunnee, Seth Troxler & Tiga and Marcel Dettmann & Dr. Rubinstein.
