Janelle Monáe protégé Jidenna has announced his debut album, which will be called The Chief, is set for release on February 17.

While you may only be familiar with the singer’s summer 2015 mega-hit ‘Classic Man’ or its Kendrick Lamar remix, Jidenna has steadily been releasing music over the past year and a half, including political cuts like ‘Long Live the Chief’ and ‘Extraordinaire’, as well as last summer’s excellent ‘Little Bit More’.

Before the album’s release, Jidenna has put out a new single called ‘The Let Out’ featuring Migos member Quavo. Check out the track below.
