There are no words for CeeLo Green’s really fucking weird Grammys outfit
If you’re going to an awards ceremony and aren’t likely to win an award, why not dress up like one instead?
It’s not often at FACT that we weigh in on the world of fashion. For CeeLo Green though, who turned up to last night’s Grammys dressed like a Power Rangers villain conceptually modelled on Donald Trump’s elevator, we’ll make an exception.
Apparently the singer – who in 2014 argued that “it isn’t rape if the victim is unconscious” after pleading no contest in court to supplying a woman with ecstasy – has a new stage persona named Gnarly Davidson, and this is simply what Gnarly Davidson looks like. In a statement to XXL, he explained his new character thus: “Look at me… LOOK AT ME! YOU DID THIS TO ME CEELO GREEN, YOU FUCKING IDIOT. BUT I LIKE IT, I’m actually…BETTER! Than you… than everyone! A karmikaze upon you! Vengeance is mine sayeth GNARLY DAVIDSON. P.S. TECHNOLOJESUS saves.” Obviously.
Anyways, Twitter promptly went in on CeeLo for turning up to the Grammys looking . Check out just some of the responses below.
