Manchester By the Sea, Fences win, too.

La La Land, Moonlight and Arrival won big at this Sunday’s Academy Awards. In the strangest turn of events – Warren Beatty announced La La Land as the winner for Best Picture when Moonlight was the actual winner. Maybe Steve Harvey wrote the script tonight.

We won’t lie: we’re bummed that Mica Levi’s Jackie score didn’t win – but we’ve already expressed our grievances with the Best Original Score category.

‘City of Stars’ from La La Land beat songs from Lin-Manuel Miranda, Sting and, well, La La Land for Best Original Song. We’re sorry, Justin Timberlake.
