The announcement has heightened our desires for Dear Tommy, too.

Echo Park Records, home to Chromatics, have announced that the band and its frontman Johnny Jewel are involved with the upcoming new season of Twin Peaks.

As Pitchfork notes, Chromatics’ Ruth Radelet was on the massive Twin Peaks cast list shared almost a year ago. However, the image shared alongside the announcement features a number of smashed Dear Tommy LPs in see-through vinyl. Could Chromatics’ long-awaited Kill For Love follow-up finally, finally be on its way?

Last year, the band released vocoder-laced track ‘Magazine’ from the Belgian drama Home. The film’s soundtrack was released via Jewel’s Italians Do It Better.

Twin Peaks premieres May 21 on Showtime. Get your cherry pie recipe ready.
