Nigel Godrich shared an interesting glimpse into his early years today with an old rejection letter he received after reaching out to Abbey Road studios for a job in 1990.

Don’t feel too bad for Godrich though, he worked his way up from studio assistant to engineer over several album recording jobs and eventually producing a track for one band he was working on. That song was ‘Black Star’, that band was Radiohead and flash forward a few amazing decades and the guy is getting offered cameos in Star Wars movies. Things worked out just fine.
