Aurora Halal, Juliana Huxtable and Rabit will perform at the two-day event.

Abyss X has announced the launch of Nature Loves Courage, a 350-capacity, two-day festival that will take place in the small village of Sougia, located on her native island of Crete.

The initial lineup is already looking extremely promising, with performances from Aurora Halal, Juliana Huxtable, DEBONAIR, Nkisi, Rabit, Ziúr, Gabber Eleganza, DJ Paypal, Aquarian, Kilbourne and Abyss X herself.

The festival’s name comes from a quote from the American ethnobotanist and psychonaut Terence McKenna – whom Abyss X has featured in many of her mixes and DJ sets. Given McKenna’s influence on the festival, it seems fitting that clothing is optional at the nearby Sougia Beach.

Nature Loves Courage will take place on June 7 – 8, although festival-goers are encouraged to stay to enjoy the festival’s coastal setting for longer. Tickets are available now, with early-bird passes available throughout January for €45.

For more details, check out the festival Facebook event or visit the Nature Loves Courage website. See below for the initial program, and re-visit Aurora Halal’s stunning FACT mix.
