On the latest episode of FACT TV, we invited Brackles into the – ahem – studio.
Brackles was one of the defining figures in dubstep’s meltdown into a more amorphous form of UK house music, co-running the Blunted Robots label with long-term pal Shortstuff and releasing on Planet Mu. Now signed to Rinse with his debut album on the way, Brackles talked us through his all-time favourite UK garage records, from Artful Dodger to Steve Gurley via the Dreem Teem and more.
You can catch Brackles play at this year’s Lovebox festival in London, June 15, as part of the Rinse FM arena. For more info, click here.
Film by Anoushka Seigler and Kamil Dymek, interview by Tom Lea.
