FACT TV invited Second Storey round for a dance floor-focused edition of Inside My Record Bag.

Previously known as Al Tourettes, Alec Storey kicked off his Second Storey project last year with the Margosa Heights EP, but his biggest statement yet came with earlier this month with the release of his debut full-length on Houndstooth, Double Divide. Showcasing the UK producer’s transformation since his early 12″s on Applepips and Aus, the album blends knotty Autechre-isms with a kinetic dance floor sensibility – stream it in full.

FACT TV invited Storey round to snoop through a few the records that mean the most to him, from from a compilation of early electronic gems to swung techno from Neil Landstrumm and John Heckle.

Double Divide is out now on Houndstooth, and his collaborative EP with Appleblim under the alias ALSO is coming soon on R&S.
