Wavves’ frontman Nathan Williams joins his brother Kynan in a new venture for Fool’s Gold Records.

The first release from Sweet Valley, the screwed sunbeam ‘Total Carnage,’ bears little resemblance to Wavves’ fuzzy punk jams. The common thread is the twisted vision of pop music after a day under the influence of the sun, surf, and mind-altering chemicals. The duo’s instrumental beat tape, Stay Calm, is due out on August 7.
