Look, we love the shit out of both Animal Collective and Gang Gang Dance. Chances are you do too. So how cool would it be if they played London together, at somewhere like the Brixton Academy, maybe around say August 20? Like this year?

"Very fucking cool" is the answer to that question, and that’s why we’re delighted to announce that the mighty Gang Gang – Brooklyn improv figureheads and general pop geniuses that they are – will be supporting Animal Collective on August 20 for their already-announced Brixton Academy gig. Given the fact that in Merriweather Post Pavilion and Saint Dymphna, both bands recently put out career-best albums, this should be one for the ages. See you there.
