We know that synth-assisted navel-gazer Nite Jewel has been working with boogie-funk don Dam-Funk on new material, hopefully leading up to an album release some time in 2011.

Well, we’ll have to wait a little longer to hear the fruits of that project, but until then we’re happy to gnaw on Dam’s new remix of the Nite Jewel track ‘It Goes Through Your Head’. This version – a perfect union of slouchy, G-friendly rhythm and sighing vocals – will see release on a Mexican Summer 12″, out soon, also featuring the original and a Samps remix.
