Bryan Ferry spent last night undergoing tests in hospital after falling seriously ill.

Initially it was feared that the Roxy Music frontman had suffered a heart attack, but a friend speaking on his behalf said that this was not the case.

“Bryan has been rough for some time and he felt even worse today. So he thought it was best for the doctors to look into it. We’re all obviously very concerned for him.”

The 65-year-old was forced to cancel an appearance at an Olympics 2012 event as a result of his hospitalisation. More information here.
