Raekwon The Chef hasn’t exactly delivered on the main course this year – we’ve been promised a follow-up to 2009’s ace Only Built 4 Cuban Linx…Pt. II. for yonks – but it appears that a taster plate is on the way.

On Friday, the Wu-Tang Clan staple took to Twitter to announce a forthcoming EP in 2013, titled Lost Jewlry [sic]. In a message the following day, he also revealed that the EP would be a free giveaway, writing “#LostjewlryEp will be free so it can hold yall over till the album drop!!!!”.

A subsequent picture showed the rapper filleting down material for the album, as well as inadvertently revealing a predilection for pretzels. Raekwon also sent out a call for new beats, writing: “In the studio send me some flame beats@iceh2orecords.com”. Go forth, bedroom producers.

According to 2 Dope Boyz, that long-mooted new Cuban Linx disc will arrive in 2014. Raekwon recently made a high appearance in our list of the best reissues of 2012. Wu-Tang Clan’s collaborative LP with D-Block is currently streaming in full.
