Former Yellow Swans lynchpin Pete Swanson will release a new four-track EP for Software on March 12.

Titled Punk Authority (which ranks somewhere between Man with Potential and I Don’t Rock At All in the hierarchy of great Swanson album titles), this new EP follows contributions to Type, Blackest Ever Black’s Confessions sub-label and Three Lobed. As ever, the music contained is heavy: the riffs rage, the drums distort, and the waveforms make absolutely zero sense.

You can stream the closing track from Punk Authority, ‘Life Ends at 30’, below. Software also, lest we forget, have Autre ne Veut’s new album Anxiety on the horizon.

Tracklist:

Side A:
Punk Authority
C.O.P.

Side B:
Grounds For Arrest
Life Ends at 30
