SFV Acid preps LP for UNO NYC, shares pair of videos

SFV Acid will release his full-length debut for UNO in the spring.

To tide us over until then, Zane Reynolds has shared videos for parts 1 & 2 of ‘As Is’, two dreamy, acid-infused house tracks that appeared on his Neighborhood Archives EP (out now on UNO NYC, one of our labels to watch in 2013).

The videos feature VHS-filmed footage SFV Acid lounging in his namesake San Fernando Valley (LA’s suburban wasteland) and — when attached to his squelching, drum machine explorations — resemble B-roll from some bizarro Chamber of Commerce tourism videos.

Reynolds is also slated star in a short film that will debut at this month’s Sundance Film Festival. Details are scarce, but the film is directed by Tyrone Lebon, and documents SFV Acid and the suburban EDM scene of the San Fernando Valley.
