Last month, MC Hammer found himself on the wrong side of the law in Dublin, California.

The rapper was reprimanded on February 21 for supposedly driving a vehicle registered in somebody else’s name. Dublin police then claimed that Hammer refused to provide details of the car’s registered owner and became “very argumentative”. Hammer was subsequently taken to a local jail and released on bail. The rapper told a very different story, claiming he had been the victim of racial profiling.

It now seems that Hammer’s account has won out, with all charges against the rapper being dropped. Taking to Twitter on Saturday, the rapper wrote “Thank You to all my friends and supporters. All CHARGES DECLINED. Dropped. Have A great Weekend.” He also posted a supplementary link to recent track ‘No Beef’ (arguably a crime in itself). [via HipHopDX]
