UK funky pioneer Roska has had a fairly quiet 2013 so far, so it’s reassuring to hear that the follow-up to last year’s rather good Rinse Presents: Roska 2 full-length has finally been announced.

The Shocking EP. is set for a September 16 release through the Rinse imprint, and from the sound of lead single ‘Desire’ (which you can hear below) it finds Roska again mining the rich seam separating club music and pop. As usual, he manages somehow to stay on the right side of good taste, and aided by a knockout diva turn from vocalist Vanya, ‘Desire’ marks yet another win for the London producer.
