Another compulsively watchable OF vid.

Odd Future’s loudest mouth has delivered the video for ‘Tamale’, taken from his recent album Wolf. Directed by Tyler himself (under his Wolf Haley pseudonym), the vid taps into the rapper’s typically maniacal, cartoonish style and features giant cats, golf buggies and, er, Tyler in whiteface.

Interestingly, scene near the beginning of the video has been pixellated and covered with a note reading, “Due to the ‘graphic’ nature of this film I was forced to blur because people aren’t ready to have intelligent conversations before they judge. Welcome to America.” The next scene, showing Tyler jumping up and down on a woman’s bikini-clad behind, is captioned, “But this shit is allowed.”

None other than Pharrell Williams also makes an appearnce in the song’s N.E.R.D-style breakdown, vacantly playing the drums while Tyler lies on the sofa.

Tyler recently teamed up with his OF pals Earl Sweatshirt, Hodgy Beats and Domo Genesis for new track ‘Look’, while he also appeared on Flying Lotus’ in-game radio station for GTA V.
