In space no one can hear you sing.

The rumours are indeed true, polarizing art popper Lady Gaga will be blasting off into outer space and it’s all thanks to Richard Branson. As you may already know, the Virgin pioneer has been working on commercial space travel for some time now, and one of his Virgin Galactic flights is set to launch at 2015’s 3-day tech festival Zero G Colony, six months after the program’s debut.

Gaga will be a passenger on the flight, and is undergoing an intense training regime to get her vocal chords in shape to deal with the different atmosphere. She’s set to perform one song, and she’ll be the first artist to ever sing in space, which somehow seems fitting, doesn’t it? [via US Weekly]
