Bok Bok and Tom Trago kick off "next level DJ tools" series with 'Get Me What You Want' 12"

The Night Slugs stalwart and Voyage Direct boss launch a collaborative series.

The Night Voyage label gets a push-start at the end of the month with the release of ‘Get Me What You Want’, the first in a series of 12″s by London’s Bok Bok and Amsterdam’s Tom Trago billed as “next level DJ tools”. The record is a follow-up to their Night Voyage Tool Kit EP, which was issued as a 12″ a couple of years ago as part of the Crossover Series, the brainchild of Sound Pellegrino boss Teki Latex.

The title track can be heard in L-Vis 1990’s recent Night Slugs mix for Opening Ceremony and is described as equal parts “Jersey Club and Herbie Hancock”, while the B-side takes on a darker, more industrial flavour and is aptly titled ‘Hole Driller 3’. Hear snippets of both tracks over at Deejay.de. The 12″ is out on Night Voyage on November 30.

Trago recently gave FACT TV a guided tour of Amsterdam, introducing his city’s best record shops, restaurants and hidden gems. Earlier this year Bok Bok dropped a special Fade To Mind mix featuring Kowton’s edit of Jeremih’s ‘Fuck You All The Time’, various Night Slugs/Fade to Mind bootlegs and a ton of unreleased material – hear that below.
