Face Vega and Gila Monsta’s entrancing collision of cavernous beats and tongue-twisting rhymes has had the FACT office swaying to the churning pules for some time now, and the duo have finally unleashed their next chapter.

Entitled ICE and released through Jacques Greene’s Vase imprint, this is the tape that should establish Gorgeous Children as serious contenders. While it might only be an economical half-hour long, the duo manage to cram more ideas into eight tracks than most rap acts manage in 20. It follows on from the incredible Blade Runner-sampling ‘Sour‘ – fittingly the tape’s closing track – and coolly establishes a unique pitch-black mood that’s hard to argue with.
