Here’s a first: FACT TV’s Against The Clock feature has proved the catalyst for an honest-to-God commercial release.

Late last year, DJ Haus – boss of lunatic label-cum-blog-cum-online repository Unknown To The Unknown – jetted out to New York with FACT TV. One of his stop-offs was Brooklyn record shop The Thing, where he met up with WT Recordings boss Willie Burns. The prolific producer cooked up at track in real-time on his E-mu SP12 Turbo, a stuttering US garage jam which we subsequently offered as a full stream.

That track, ‘Woo Right’, will now appear on a full official release 12″ on UTTU in late January. The Woo Right EP will feature four new tracks from the producer: alongside the title track, the EP offers gurgling house on ‘The Heaviest Elements’, muggy ambient 4×4 on ‘Fast Times At Long Island City High’, and frazzled Balearic on ‘Adverbs and Adjectives’.

Click below to stream the EP in its entirety. As Juno Plus note, releases from Mumdance, Matrixxman, Pol Style, and Chaos in the CBD are also due on UTTU in 2014. Geazah’s little-known bassline house track ‘Timetravel’ will also get a reissue. Head here to cop DJ Haus’ recent FACT Mix.
