The anonymous producer readies a follow-up to 2012’s Unknown Vectors EP.

SD Laika inaugurated Visionist’s Lost Codes imprint with Unknown Vectors, a collection of instrumental grime described by Steve Shaw as “sly, tweaky, [and] boggle-brained.”

That descriptor should give you an idea of what to expect from the producer’s next release, forthcoming on Tri Angle Records — as should this 14-minute mix, Idiot Thug. Brutally textured, the mix finds SD Laika pushing instrumental grime to its most nihilistic extremes.
