The R&B crooner steps up for the latest Girls soundtrack.

Miguel‘s offering for the second volume of the Girls soundtrack is a slow-burner entitled ‘Simplethings’. Over little more than a fuzzy riff and a click track, Miguel lays out what he’s looking for in a relationship; it’s reminiscent of Kaleidoscope Dream cut ‘Arch & Point’ and it’s well-suited for the deceptively romantic HBO sensation.

Listen to ‘Simplethings’ below. Last September, he released the similarly-tuned one-off ‘Can’t Sleep Together’ via the Adult Swim Singles Program. Miguel is set to release a new album this fall, with plans to collaborate with Jessie Ware and J. Cole.
