Ben Frost announces new album A U R O R A, hear a track now

Ben Frost‘s last proper solo album By The Throat appeared way back in 2009, so it’s great to see the producer back with his next weighty tome.

That’s not to say he’s been quiet over the last few years – a slew of collaborations (including one high profile match-up with a certain Brian Eno) have kept Frost busy, and he’s managed to find time to drop a number of self-released projects, but A U R O R A sounds as if it’s the real deal.

The record is due for release on May 26 via Mute/Bedroom Community, and we’ve got a single snippet so far – a short track featuring video from Trevor Tweeten and Richard Moss. It’s pitted as being the first in a series of audio/visual collaborations, so keep your eyes and ears peeled.
