Stream Kelis' new album Food in full

Hear the gastronomically themed LP from Ninja Tune’s latest signing.

R&B chameleon Kelis finally releases her sixth album, Food, next week. Helmed by TV On The Radio’s golden touch producer Dave Sitek and recorded with a full band, the 13-track effort includes titles like ‘Fish Fry’, ‘Biscuits ‘n’ Gravy’ and ‘Jerk Ribs’, and displays a more stripped back and soulful sound than 2010’s dancefloor-focused Flesh Tone.

The whole thing is streaming in full via NPR.

Also, at 4pm (ET) today (Monday, April 14), Kelis will be answering fans’ questions on Twitter and talking about the making of the album – use the hashtag #AskKelisNPR to join in.

Food is out on April 22. FACT TV popped into the trained chef’s food truck at SXSW – watch our interview.
