DJ Mustard continues to turn 90s dance-pop into R&B gold.
Chicago crooner Jeremih has continued the long line of singles that have preceded his frequently-delayed Thumpy Johnson album with ‘Don’t Tell ‘Em’, a song produced by hitmaker DJ Mustard (and Mick Schultz) and featuring Bompton knucklehead YG.
Notably, the track interpolates Snap!’s 1992 hit ‘Rhythm Is A Dancer’, which is becoming Mustard’s go-to trick: he flipped Robin S classic ‘Show Me Love’ for Kid Ink and Chris Brown’s ‘Show Me’.
Stream ‘Don’t Tell ‘Em’ below. Jeremih was last seen singing a similar tune on Tink’s ‘Don’t Tell Nobody’, and his collaborative EP with Shlohmo is — like his album — also in limbo.
