Caribou previews new album Our Love with 'Can't Do Without You', announces massive tour

After several years under his Daphni alias, Dan Snaith relaunches Caribou.

Snaith’s last album as Caribou was 2010’s Swim; since then, he has mostly focused on the dancefloor with his Daphni project. Our Love is due out on City Slang on October 6 (UK/EU) and on Merge on October 7 (US/Canada), and is preceded by the woozy electro-pop of ‘Can’t Do Without You’.

“I hope you like this song and can’t wait for you to hear the whole album,” he writes on Facebook. “Thank you for waiting so patiently for it – it’s taken me a long time but I hope you’ll agree it’s been worth the wait.”

The album features Hyperdub’s Jessy Lanza and recent collaborator Owen Pallett. Caribou will begin a massive world tour later this month that will keep the band busy through November; those dates are below.
