Surreal skin-baring vid from the regular collaborators.

Gwilym Gold returns this month with his new single ‘Muscle’, a moody piano-led track that’s also the first release on Hymn, an imprint set up by visual artist Eddie Peake in collaboration with The Vinyl Factory.

Peake directs the strangely poetic video, which stars dancer Fernanda Munoz-Newsome, a kitten, a bonsai tree and a turtle. The video continues a collaboration that began at London’s White Cube Gallery last year, where Gold spent six weeks improvising a piano score to accompany Peake’s work with five dancers.

‘Muscle’ is available on digital, 12” vinyl and limited edition formats, which come individually screen printed by Peake –you can pre-order the limited version from vfeditions.com.
