The hip-hop legends expand two classic albums to celebrate Def Jam’s 30th anniversary.

Public Enemy have opened the vaults for deluxe, expanded editions of hip-hop touchstones It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back and Fear of a Black Planet.

Millions will be released as a 2-CD set (the album and a disc of rare mixes), along with a DVD of the long-unavailable 1989 VHS release Fight the Power… Live and a booklet that includes liner notes by The Roots bandleader Questlove. It will be released on November 24.

Similarly, Fear of a Black Planet will be released as a two-disc set, with liner notes by Wax Poetics magazine editor-in-chief Andre Torres; it’s due out on December 8. The full tracklists for both are below. And while both are classics, only one made it into FACT’s 100 best albums of the 1980s.
