The Manhattan institution gets ready to return to the airwaves.

East Village Radio (the first home of FACT’s radio show) shut down earlier this year due to mounting licensing fees and Internet costs. Now, Brooklyn Vegan reports that EVR will return before the end of 2014 — via the recently-launched Dash Radio network — to a redesigned-and-revamped 1st Avenue studio. Dash was co-founded by DJ Skee and EVR’s Peter Ferraro earlier this year.

In edition, EVR will be launching Brooklyn Radio in early 2015 from a store-front studio on N. 7th and Wythe in Williamsburg, where it will serve as a sister-station to EVR. DASH Radio includes stations hosted by Odd Future, Side One Dummy Records and more.
