It feels like Seth Troxler has never been so busy.

Last year the outspoken Detroit artist broke a long production silence with a series of killer collaborations, and last month he delivered his first solo single in ages on Guy Gerber’s Rumors label. Troxler is showing no signs of slowing down either, with his next solo record out later this month.

The appropriately-named Just Back 12″ is being released on the Tuskegee Music label Troxler founded with fellow collaborators The Martinez Brothers last year. The label was inspired by their shared influences of ’90s house and the Paradise Garage, something you can hear clearly in the dubby keys, chattering vocal samples and bumping bassline of the record’s B-side track ‘Junkyard Tool’, streaming below.

The record also features A-side track ‘CV’ and is out on vinyl on April 27, and digitally on May 18. Troxler is also planning a celebration of the UK’s acid house heritage at London’s Tobacco Dock in August – details on that here.
