Trevor Jackson’s new album FORMAT is out today.

DJ Gilles Peterson invited Jackson down to the Brownswood Basement for an in-depth chat about his past as a graphic designer contributing to the visual identities of classic labels, his Output Records phase releasing early Four Tet and LCD Soundsystem, and his outlook on club culture today.

Playing a few tracks from his new album FORMAT, Jackson talks about the concept behind the record, which he released through The Vinyl Factory across 12 different formats including 7″, cassette and reel-to-reel. The album is now out as a triple-disc set too.
