Last year, Nick Hook teamed up with Serato and Ninja Tune for Collage v. 1, a project that included an EP, a limited edition Serato pressing and a documentary.

Now, the seasoned musician, engineer and occasional agony aunt will release Collage v. 1 Remixes – giving up stems to the project to younger artists, and in the sense of Jesse Rose, a grizzled veteran.

That package will be released on June 15, and leads with a mix by Night Slugs new jack Neana. Neana’s work so far has seen him take patterns and characteristics from ballroom, Jersey club and grime and push them into brittle, industrial zones, but on this remix he lets the South African house influences – often present on his DJ sets, less so on his releases so far – really shine through. We’re premiering it below; Collage v. 1 Remixes will also feature Cartel Music’s Gutta, Big Dope P, Joe Marinetti, and Jesse Rose and Brillstein.

The Neana mix is available to buy now.
