Prefuse 73 teases collaboration with Lee Bannon

New York stars collide.

Last week, the recently resurgent Prefuse 73 quietly tweeted “Lee Bannon + Prefuse 73 = L-73 …tbc,” hinting at a collaboration with the Ninja Tune producer.

It’s not much to go on, but a collaboration would be interesting: the two share hip-hop backgrounds, although Bannon has moved on to jungle and now ambient and drone (with his recent name change suggesting a new sound in the future).

Prefuse 73 finally stepped up for a FACT mix last month, and FACT’s Laurent Fintoni sat with him for an extensive interview.
