NBC drama Hannibal returns to TV tomorrow (June 4), and to coincide with the start of the third season, Mondo and Lakeshore Records will reissue highlights of Brian Reitzell’s unnerving score as a double LP set. The score was initially released last year by Invada Records across four double-LP sets.

As ever, Mondo gets the aesthetic just right, with blood-splattered images of Mads Mikkelsen’s Hannibal Lecter (with stag horns, in a clever nod to the show) and Hugh Dancy’s Will Graham. The coup de grâce, however, is the “steak tartare” vinyl, best played while enjoying fava beans and a nice Chianti.

Hannibal – Original Television Soundtrack goes on sale tomorrow at MondoTees.com, and is limited to 1,000 copies. The tracklist and a visual preview are below, via The AV Club.
