Legendary music man shares wisdom and experiences from extensive career.

The latest episode of Dr. Dre’s The Pharmacy radio show, broadcast on Apple Music’s Beats 1, features Dre in conversation with Quincy Jones, whose career influenced our modern understanding of what a producer is.

The pair discussed how Jones escaped a potential life of crime for music, what it means to be a producer – “everything you can think of” – as well as Jones’ iconic work with Michael Jackson and lessons learnt from firsts records.

The music selection and mixing on this edition of The Pharmacy was handled by another legend, Los Angeles’ DJ Battlecat.
