Nicolas Jaar has remixed Kanye West for the soundtrack of a short film about an artist.

Commissioned by Los Angeles County Museum of Art in 2014, Picturing Barbara Kruger is narrated by the titular visual artist, who talks about how her background in graphic design shaped the text-based work she makes and how she sees her legacy.

As Pitchfork reports, Kruger requested Kanye West’s music for the piece, and the HudMo-produced ‘Blood On The Leaves’ has been given a loosened, lightly tranquilised remix by Jaar. Watch the short video on Vimeo.

Meanwhile, Kanye has just renamed his album again. He’s cutting it fine – T.L.O.P. is due to come out tomorrow (February 11) with a premiere event at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Last year Jaar teamed up with William Basinski, Holly Herndon, Powell and more for a pretty unique tech-based collaboration.
