Lil Wayne may still be suing Birdman for $50 million over his Cash Money contract, despite the Like Father, Like Son duo’s reconciliation, but former Birdman cohort Mannie Fresh has reunited the two on wax for the first time since the fallout. ‘Hate’ comes from Fresh’s upcoming Mass Appeal Records release and joins together classic members of the Cash Money lineup, including Juvenile.

Back in 2013, it was reported that Birdman and Fresh’s outfit Big Tymers would reunite…with Wayne in Fresh’s role and the addition of Drake. With no real word on what exactly Drake’s new official status as a member of Boy Better Know means for his Young Money affiliation and the seeming peace laid out by this track — not to mention Drake’s enduring beef with Nicki Minaj’s boyfriend Meek Mill — the state of Cash Money is currently the greatest rap soap opera.
