D∆WN links with Fade to Mind.

D∆WN and Kingdom revealed last week that they would be releasing a collaborative project on his label Fade to Mind when they released its lead track ‘Honest’ and now that project is here.

Titled Infrared, it’s a four-track quickie. Speaking to The FADER, Kingdom said of the work: “From first meet, I knew D∆WN and I could create some great thing together. She instantly gravitated towards these four productions… ‘How I Get It’ is one we made on the spot together, even with just chimes and a snap laid down, D∆WN knew exactly how to ride the beat to give it the undeniable attitude that carries the whole song. Working with the Fade To Mind team, it seemed like she felt safe bringing out her more vulnerable emotional side, with the productions creating space for that as well.”

Although, anyone who has listened to Blackheart or seen D∆WN perform live knows that she is fearless and perpetually engaged in her own innovation. “I’ve always appreciated Fade to Mind’s sound,” D∆WN says of Infrared. “It only felt right to take do a special project with them that was curated around simplicity.”

Expect to hear more from D∆WN this year, including her highly-anticipated full-length REDEMPTION.
