Beck goes trap on OG Maco-sampling new single ‘WOW’

“It’s like wow / It’s like right now.”

After teasing the track with a number of artist-created Instagram videos this week, Beck has finally dropped his new single ‘WOW’.

The follow-up track to last year’s ‘Dreams’, this new song sees the Grammy-winning artist continue to embrace a more dance-minded aesthetic, complete with his signature sing-rap style, while delving into trap-ready beats. It also features a sample from Atlanta rapper OG Maco.

#Repost @aliciaunderwater ・・・ @seethroughsea | Excited to share that I had the opportunity to work with @capitolrecords and @beck on the release of his newest song "WOW"! The song is about the moments in life that leave you in awe of the world and I was glad to contribute this clip of me, taken by my husband @_jimward_, watching in amazement as an akule ball danced fluidly around me. #beckWOW #seethroughsea #beautifulworld #freedive
