The platform Thom Yorke once savaged will stream the band’s latest LP.

Now that the dust has begun to settle from the rollout of Radiohead’s latest album, Spotify have confirmed they will begin streaming A Moon Shaped Pool next Friday, June 17.

As A Moon Shaped Pool was first coming out, fans questioned whether the streaming platform would get it. Though previous singles ‘Burn The Witch’ and ‘Daydreaming’ were available to stream, Thom Yorke has been extremely critical of the platform in the past, infamously referring to streaming as “the last desperate fart of a dying corpse”.

“We don’t need you to do it. No artists needs you to do it. We can build the shit ourselves, so fuck off,” Yorke said about the service in 2013, still some time before the streaming landscape filled with other major services including Apple Music and Tidal.

Keep an eye out for A Moon Shaped Pool next week and revisit ‘Burn The Witch’ below.
