Uncredited music shared by the band may offer a glimpse inside their next album.

The xx have released a mysterious 55-second long piece of music today that could be the first material from their upcoming third album.

The track was recently placed into the Spotify playlist the group shared last month of songs they’ve been listening to in the studio, Indiespot points out. Though the distinctly xx-sounding track is not titled or credited to any artist, it is copyrighted to their label Young Turks.
