Bad Romance & Boujee?
With the release of their second album C U L T U R E today and viral single ‘Bad & Boujee’ sitting at the top of the Billboard charts, Migos have never been more popular. They’re so popular in fact that one passionate fan has started a Change.org petition to call for the NFL to replace Lady Gaga with Migos at this year’s Super Bowl halftime show.
Justin Good, who created the petition, makes the point that because the Atlanta Falcons will be playing the New England Patriots in Houston on February 5 this year, it makes perfect sense that the Atlanta trio should perform. “Two of the TRILLEST hip hop communities under ONE ROOF,” he says.
Good wants Migos to perform ‘Bad & Boujee’ at the halftime show but he doesn’t stop there – he also wants Future to perform ‘March Madness’, OutKast to reunite and play tracks from Aquemini and Jay-Z and Bun B to finish things off with a special performance of ‘Big Pimpin’. For the pre-show party, he wants Young Thug, Rae Sremmurd, Gucci Mane, Goodie Mob, Ludacris and Young Jeezy to perform and André 3000 and Erykah Badu to sing the National Anthem. Seriously.
