The UK techno siblings return with Arla II.

Tessela and Truss will release the second EP from their Overmono collaboration next month.

Arla II follows the release of their first EP last year, which saw the UK techno artists – otherwise known as brothers Ed and Tom Russell – combine elements of techno, ambient, IDM and jungle.

The duo’s successful solo careers saw them become regulars on labels such as R&S and their own Poly Kicks label. Truss is also a regular collaborator with UK techno veteran Perc.

“Despite doing some live shows together and the fact that we’re brothers, we hadn’t ever really written music together and wanted to start something new,” the duo said of the collaboration last year.

Following a live debut at Krakow’s Unsound Festival last year, Overmono will be touring this year, including dates in Milan, Barcelona’s Sonar and London’s Field Day. Check the full list of dates and stream EP closer ‘Powder Dry’ below.
