Chance the Rapper has shared a congratulatory text from Kendrick Lamar celebrating Chance’s Grammy wins this past weekend.
It’s like the time Macklemore sent Kendrick a text apologizing for his win and then posting it on social media, only a much more positive. (Fun fact: Macklemore did not submit his music for consideration this year so as not to repeat what happened in 2014.)
While Kendrick was excited for Chance’s victory, TDE co-president Terrence “Punch” Henderson shared Kendrick’s displeasure with Beyoncé’s Album of the Year loss.
