Drake makes surprise appearance with Skepta and Giggs at London's XOYO

The intimate Shoreditch venue went wild.

Drake paid a surprise visit to intimate London club XOYO last night (February 16), coming out on stage with Skepta, Giggs and Section Boyz as part of club night DBE.

Toronto rapper Smoke Dawg and London’s Nafe Smallz were the only acts scheduled to be performing at the venue. Drake came out as a special guest to perform ‘Energy’ towards the end, bolstered by his very own grime crew. See some footage below.

The ‘One Dance’ artist has been in the UK for his Boy Meets World tour, an eventful run of dates that has included everything from epic stage tumbles and accusations of Islamophobia against the rapper. Earlier in the week, Drake offered to help talk a suicidal man down from a bridge in Manchester.

Last February, the Toronto rapper made a guest appearance at Section Boyz’ Village Underground show, performing a verse from ‘Jumpman’ with Skepta also in tow.
